Almost in 2017, one of the biggest centralized exchanges LocalBitcoins still don't have customized miner fee and when I withdraw my Bitcoins from them it takes FOREVER to confirm transaction on blockchain.

Seriously, Bitcoin community is becoming really USELESS...

Why doesn't bitcoin allow blockchain embedded link names (like someone can attach their email address to a bitcoin address by paying a miners fee)? This was the sole benefit of Ripple for most people and seems necessary for average consumer adoption

It should be confirmed within the next decade. No but seriously, ViaBTC is not a very powerful miner so I doubt it'll be added anytime soon if your fee is low.
Edit: This is why I prefer the STEEM blockchain over bitcoin's. Three second conf time has me spoiled.

I've had 3 transactions to separate entities that are taking hours to confirm, I even paid up to .40 cents per transaction, one was for $40, one for $30, another for $30, it's been 3 hours, no confirmations.
Why? What is causing this massive slowdown? I have several brothers-in-arms experiencing the exact same problem so it has been replicated.
Just looking for some insight, thanks in advance.

Bitcoin is the myspace to the facebooks that are currencies on DAG. LN will not save btc. DAG is better than blockchain. No fees, no delays, scalable, no miners - no massive use of energy. Lurker since 2013 but had to sign up now. It has always been said around here that crypto is the future of transactions and it is. It has always been said that maybe one day something better than btc will come and now it has - 'it might not be btc, but crypto is the future'. Btc has paved the way to new technologies. The blockchain has many purposes, but it is no longer the best technology for p2p, instant, decentralized, free, verifiable, transfer of digital uninflatable currency.
